HQ Essentials Receives Prestigious Award
Recently, NAHQ was named a proud recipient of a 2017 The Power of A Gold Award for HQ Essentials: Competencies for the Healthcare Quality Profession. The award, presented by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), is the industry’s highest honor, recognizing organizations for their valuable contributions in solving problems, advancing industry performance, and improving conditions on local, national, and global levels.
ASAE selected HQ Essentials for its positive impact on healthcare quality. The resource, which defines six key competency areas, can be used to assess and expand the healthcare quality knowledge and practices for advanced- and master-level professionals as well as organizations across the continuum of care.
In less than a month, we’ll convene in Cincinnati, OH, for the premier healthcare quality conference of the year. Our stimulating and exciting schedule includes content pertaining to our award-winning HQ Essentials. We’re thrilled to bring you energetic and dynamic general session speakers, Simon T. Bailey and Liz Jazwiec and an insightful, thought-provoking panel discussion on the future trends in healthcare quality. You won’t want to miss them, as well as networking opportunities with your peers and there’s still time to register. If you can’t make it to Cincinnati, consider joining us virtually. The general sessions are among the 10 presentations that will be live streamed.
NAHQ Volunteer Opportunities
We have volunteer positions available on several NAHQ teams. For instance, if you have an interest in item writing and test development for the CPHQ exam, shaping educational opportunities for healthcare quality professionals, or serving as a peer reviewer for the Journal for Healthcare Quality, we encourage to apply for one of these positions today. Visit the NAHQ website to learn more about these and the other team openings.
Enjoy the remaining weeks of summer and we look forward to seeing you in Cincinnati!
