Imagine being in a room with hundreds of people who understand you simply because you speak the same language and you share the same experiences. Your face may not be recognizable, your name not known, but they “get” you. Every time I attend a NAHQ conference, I am continually overwhelmed by the sense of camaraderie and community.
If you are looking for that connection, and validation of the impact you are making in healthcare quality, join me at NAHQ Next later this year. Whether you are in a breakout session making a new acquaintance or in the Solutions Center talking with an exhibitor partner, you can talk with someone who speaks our HQ language. And personally, I love the Professional Development Zone, which serves as the hub of the show floor. No one takes care of quality professionals like NAHQ – we offer career coaching with recruiters, complimentary professional headshots and GREAT networking opportunities.
I’ve been to a lot of conferences. I considered the conference worth my time and investment if I left with ONE applicable takeaway. NAHQ Next caused me to reset the bar. I am confident I will leave every NAHQ Next with multiple takeaways to bring back to my organization. NAHQ Next is an incredible learning opportunity, and I look forward to welcoming you to Minneapolis.
If you have not visited the NAHQ Next site recently, be sure to check it out. Descriptions of breakout sessions have been added, and you can start planning out your schedule. Select “schedule” at the top of the page and click on a breakout session title for the details. You can then filter by audience level, topic, and date.
I’d love to hear which sessions you’re looking forward to attending or your suggestions of “must-do activities” in Minneapolis and its surrounding area. Personally, I can’t wait for these two sessions:
- Get Stuff Done Retreat: Driving Quality through Collaborative Partnerships Across the Continuum
- Journey to the Top: Innovation through Integration
Please view the entire NAHQ Next agenda on our site.
Just a quick reminder that Minneapolis is a beautiful city to visit! You can access the entire city through the thoughtfully planned skywalk system. I have to tell you, this level of planning and efficiency is really inspirational to quality professionals – and it will keep us warm, too!
See you in November!
