Anticipating and mitigating the unintended consequences of developing and using health information technology (IT) is the focus of a health IT safety program. During this program, the safe practice recommendations developed by the Partnership for Health IT Patient Safety, convened by ECRI, for embedding health IT safety into your organization will be reviewed. The tool kit, including implementation strategies and tools developed, will be shared for dissemination.
