Every day, I am reminded that healthcare quality professionals are truly heroes. Whether your work has moved offsite or you continue to be on the front lines, I applaud you for your courage, selflessness and commitment to healthcare quality and patient care.

These last couple months have certainly been trying times, but I am appreciative that NAHQ has been here, serving healthcare quality professionals and helping us navigate this unprecedented challengeJust a few weeks ago, NAHQ launched its COVID-19 Resource Centera growing library of webinars, interviews and documents that can be quickly consumed. We continue to add resources on a regular basis, so be sure to visit the Resource Center often.

For the past month, NAHQ hosted Members Only Listening and Sharing Sessions. A variety of questions were posed and insights shared, ranging from how to quickly stand up workflows for telehealth to workforce management issues that include the level of emotional support being offered to teams. We have elected to put a pause on these sessions to be mindful of your time constraints during this pandemic and will assess how we can continue to serve as a resource moving forward. In the meantime, the recorded sessions have been uploaded to the COVID-19 Community on the NAHQ Network

If you are not a NAHQ member, I encourage you to join and get access to the session recordings as well as to our online COVID-19 community in the NAHQ Network. Now is a prime opportunity to try us out with our special offer on tomorrow’s Learning Lab webinarInclusive Approaches to Strategic Planning for Improved Quality.

Being a NAHQ member means being part of a community of peers and having a global network. It means having a professional home that is here for you now and in the future. What does being a NAHQ member mean to you, especially right now? I would love to hear from you! Post a 10-15 second video on Facebook or Instagram, using the hashtag #WhyNAHQ and tagging @mynahq.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to healthcare quality, and take care.
