I am an accomplished and seasoned healthcare leader with extensive experience in Quality, Patient Safety, Lean methodologies, across diverse healthcare settings, including large academic medical centers and health systems. Holding both an MD and a MPH, along with my Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification, I bring a comprehensive skill set to my role as a Director of Quality & Patient Safety. I have a strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams and have overseen numerous quality improvement projects and have established comprehensive governance structures for improvement initiatives. I have lead accreditation surveys (TJC, DCH), physician peer review processes, hospital acquired injury initiatives and facilitation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA). My experience also includes managing personnel, budgets, and implementing new policy and document management systems, significantly improving efficiency and compliance.
