Clinical Educator - Duke Health Ambulatory
Before stepping into my current role as a Clinical Educator on the Quality and Safety team at Duke Health, I served as the Patient Safety Liaison in my Endoscopy Clinic. I truly valued my time as a PSL, and that experience is what sparked my interest in clinical education. Having been in the role myself, I understand both the rewarding aspects and the challenges that come with serving as a PSL, and I feel well‑equipped to support others in that position. Drawing from that firsthand experience, one of the first initiatives I helped develop after becoming a Clinical Educator was the PSL Orientation program. This program introduces new PSLs to the expectations and responsibilities of the role and connects them with the resources they need to be successful.
