Rebecca Jablonski serves as the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program leader for a South Carolina Healthcare system that performs over 25,000 procedures per year in which 5000+ patients are enrolled in various ERAS programs. Since entering in this role, Rebecca has implemented 6 ERAS service lines out of the existing ten, reduced thirty-day readmission rates, and saved the hospital system 7.4 million dollars in length of stay reduction. She has spear-headed patient education enhancements through the use of multi-media content and collaborated with Marketing to create a dedicated Surgery/ERAS website for a more immersive patient experience. She was involved in a project to create a near real-time dashboard to monitor key process and outcome metrics in the electronic health record which has resulted in the implementation of various quality improvement projects throughout the hospital system.
