Cabrera serves as a Project Manager within the Center of Quality, Safety, and Regulatory at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. She earned her master’s degree from Nazareth College in Speech-Language Pathology in Rochester, NY. With over two decades of experience in patient-facing care, Cabrera has been dedicated to enhancing the quality and safety of healthcare delivery. She transitioned from her patient facing role to her patient safety role to further ensure the highest standards of care for patients. For the past two years, Cabrera has overseen UMass Memorial Medical Center's Quality and Safety Workstream, where she has been instrumental in developing standards of care and Clinical Practice Guideline (CPGs) to enhance the overall quality of care provided to patients within the Maternity Center.
