Claire Lauzon-Vallone is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in quality management and patient safety across different types of healthcare systems. She serves as Vice President of Quality and Safety at CHRISTUS Health. CHRISTUS Health is a Catholic faith-based, not-for-profit health system comprised of a network of 27 hospitals serving patients in Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. As Vice President of Quality and Safety at CHRISTUS, she is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and continual compliance, ensuring high reliability principles are in place that support the journey to zero harm. In addition, she also provides executive direction for the Credentialing Verification Organization, which serves credentialing, educational, networking, and resource support for all Medical Staff Service offices. Ms. Lauzon-Vallone holds a Master’s Degree in Business from The University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Rutgers – The State University in Newark, New Jersey. She is a Certified Professional Patient Safety (CPPS) and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
