I am a healthcare quality and patient safety professional with over three years of experience in process improvement and performance management. My background includes prior leadership experience in inpatient mental health and oversight of multiple mental health programs, where I developed a strong foundation in suicide risk assessment, care coordination, and regulatory compliance. I recently completed a yellow-belt project focused on improving the tracking and follow-up of positive C-SSRSs within a Clinical Contact Center. This work addressed a critical gap in patient safety by implementing a standardized referral pathway creating an audit mechanism and improving accountability for time CSRE completion. With my combined experience in frontline mental health and quality improvement uniquely positions me to present strategies to the NAHQ audience that strengthen suicide risk processes and close safety gaps in high volume care settings.
