Quality Manager - Nationwide Children's Hospital
Heather is a Quality Manager within the Center for Clinical Excellence at Nationwide Children's Hospital, where she oversees a team of Quality Consultants and Strategists who work on improving clinical outcomes in cooperation with a variety of departments/divisions within the hospital. The soft spot in her heart, professionally, is in using QI methodologies to make an impact on population health targets throughout Ohio. This includes training community primary care and behavioral health providers to improve the delivery of care and health outcomes for patients and families. As well as supporting initiatives that focus on reducing infant and child mortality, obesity, or improving kindergarten readiness, high school graduation and suicide prevention. Heather has worked in a variety of pediatric healthcare related roles for nearly 30 years, and has focused on quality improvement for half her career.
