PFCC Coordinator - Medical University of South Carolina

Jaicie Cranford, MHA, PMP, serves as the Program Coordinator for Patient and Family-Centered Care within the Quality Department at the Medical University of South Carolina. In this role, she leads systemwide efforts to embed patient, family, and caregiver voices into quality improvement, operational design, and care delivery across MUSC, advancing person-centered, equitable, and high-reliability practices through cross-functional collaboration. Jaicie collaborates closely with clinical, operational, and patient-family partners, serving as a PFAC-aligned leader in co-design initiatives that strengthen trust, accessibility, and care relevance, particularly for marginalized populations. Her coordination ensures patient and family perspectives are meaningfully integrated into quality, safety, and experience initiatives rather than treated as advisory alone.
