Kelly Loyd is a Volunteer Patient and Family Advisor with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She is a mom of twin girls who were born prematurely at MUSC and spent 77/31 days respectively in the NICU. Since 2011, Kelly has amassed over 6,000 hours as a volunteer partnering with MUSC staff to promote a culture of Patient- and Family-Centered Care. For the last four years, she has collaborated closely with staff to develop tools and scripting to reduce falls.
