Kimberly Streett, MSN, RN, CPHQ serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives at Joint Commission. With 30 years of nursing experience and over a decade dedicated to quality improvement, Kim has led national patient safety projects that emphasize prevention, accountability, and learning from serious harm. She oversaw NQF’s work on the Joint Commission–NQF report, Aligning Patient Safety Event Reporting: 2025 Updates to Sentinel Events and Serious Reportable Events (SRE), applying a systems-based, high-reliability approach to promote consistent and meaningful reporting of SREs.
