Director, Quality - Northwestern Delnor Hospital
I am a strategic and outcomes-oriented quality health care leader with over 35 years of experience in quality improvement, accreditation/regulatory, patient engagement, performance improvement and patient safety. I serve currently as the Director of Quality at Northwestern - Delnor Hospital leading quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts since May 2020. Previously, I was the Director of Quality Improvement, Regulatory and Service Excellence at Advocate Aurora Health Care (now Advocate Health), where I provided administrative direction for the hospital's performance improvement framework. During my tenure at Advocate, the hospital I was working at, achieved the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for performance excellence in health care. I spoke nationally on the journey to Baldrige and specifically about the leadership system, quality framework and data analytics that led to top decile performance. I hold a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
