Shruti Mittal, MD, FAAP

Assistant Professor - Advocate Health - Atrium Levine Children's Hospital

Dr. Mittal is a board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Atrium Levine Children’s Hospital, Wake Forest School of Medicine. Her work focuses on health equity, social determinants of health, and care for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She has published research in JAMA on ADHD treatment in preschoolers, telehealth use in DBP, and SDOH screening. Nationally, she has presented on complex ADHD, racial and ethnic inequities, DBP billing and coding, and intersectionality in developmental disabilities. She co-authored chapters for the AAP and contributes to the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (SDBP) position statements on telehealth and ADHD care. Dr. Mittal holds national leadership roles through SDBP and remains active in clinical care, research, advocacy, and education.
