She is Founder and Principal of Engage for Excellence LLC, a healthcare management consulting firm supporting health systems and academic medical centers in strengthening quality infrastructure, performance improvement, and organizational effectiveness. Duquette has served for over 20 years as an ANCC Magnet Appraiser, providing a national perspective on high-performing nursing practice environments, and brings extensive system-level leadership experience overseeing quality, safety, nursing, accreditation readiness, and clinical transformation. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for Healthcare Quality and as President-elect of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Fellow of NAHQ, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and board certified as a Nurse Executive, Advanced.
