Claire Lauzon-Vallone, RN MBA CPPS CPHQ (retired) as a VP Quality and Safety. She was accountable for the development and implementation of high performing clinical quality, patient safety, and process improvement for over 28 hospitals within the CHRISTUS Health System. Developed strategic project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required to ensure highly reliable clinical practice and desired quality outcomes. Achieved top percentile quality metrics for the health system. Provided process improvement leadership and knowledge of workflow, root cause analysis, change management and core processes of care. Promoted professional development for all quality management professionals through engagement and partnership with the NAHQ Workforce Accelerator Program. Was responsible for training and educating Associates in the quality, risk, and medical staff departments to work in high performance work groups and motivated team members and cultivated team accountability.
