Senior Director, Maternal & Child Health Initiative - DC Hospital Association/DCPQC

With more than 17 years of experience across hospital systems and the nonprofit sector, my career has focused on advancing quality improvement by bridging clinical practice, policy, and community engagement. In my current role as Senior Director of Maternal & Child Health Initiatives at the District of Columbia Hospital Association, I lead the DC Perinatal Quality Collaborative (DC PQC), a citywide initiative that unites hospitals, clinicians, public health agencies, and community partners to improve maternal and infant outcomes. Prior to this role, I led work in quality and patient experience, government relations, and community health—experience that informs my approach to building and sustaining multi-stakeholder collaboratives. Through this work, I have developed practical strategies for aligning diverse partners around shared improvement goals, embedding patient and family voices in QI efforts, and sustaining engagement across sectors to achieve measurable quality and equity outcomes.
