Multilevel Stakeholder Engagement Model to Foster Quality Safety and Excellence in Care

Presentation for - Narayana Health governance framework model which facilitates engagement and alignment of common goal of continuously improving the delivery of system-wide, patient-centered care and foster culture of safety. Using data driven strategies, promotes transparency, accountability of stakeholders at all levels. It includes Board, Hospital leaders, Clinical leads, Improvement team, and Front-line staff. Range of appropriate data parameters are analyzed to assess performance assessment, trend identification and ensure prioritization of improvement opportunities. Standard improvement methodologies and change models were utilized for decision making, and alignment to overall strategic goals and regulatory requirements, enabling greater operational efficiency and organizational resilience.

Tool: AIRO for clinical dashboard Management and analytics, Incident Management System with auto trigger- integrated with HIS of Narayana Health (ATHMA) and other EMR module and Seven Pillar of enterprise Governance by Joint commission International - Enterprise edition incorporate in Pyramid model of engagement known as Narayana Health Governance Framework (NGF).

Problem: In Quality Management system (QMS) often fails due to lack of engagement of stakeholder, data driven decision making for improvement, benchmarking and systematic review. Feedback from the review and systematic approach to operational changes and performance improvement is not communicated to the front life staff responsible to make changes.

Tool Selection: Usage of 5 pillar Using data, Planning, Communicating, changing performance Staffing enterprise governance model provides foundation of systems alignment and ensure performance and Pyramid model provides perfect blend of engagement, AIRO provides us validated data for data driven decision-making and Incident management auto trigger reflects vulnerability & risk of process.

Usage: Based on organization requirements, governance model designed in Pyramid shape to define roles, reporting structures, and compliance mechanisms. Governance bodies (e.g., board, operational committee, audit team) established for decision rights, authority and reporting structure. AIRO established data reporting and analysis requirement and Incident Management Integrated risk management and compliance controls.

Results: Engagement models ensure 100% compliance with the meeting at all levels, Patient safety goal compliance above 95%, Near miss reporting increased by 400%. clinical stakeholder engagement and data availability and validation.
